1. What do the controllers do exactly?
2. What are the flaws of conditioning?
3. Who's 'Ford?'

Movie Review
The Matrix
Main Characters:
Neo, Morpheus, Trinity, the three Agents, and the Oracle.
Settings:
Years into the future, in a giant computer simulation.
Plot:
Morpheus rescues people from the Matrix, and leads a group against the machines that have taken over the real world. He rescues Neo, believing that he is the chosen one, that will be able to end the war.
Diffrences from real life:
It takes place around 200 years in the future, where machines have kept humans in a virtual simulation, while they stay alive by feeding off the humans in the real world.
Why was this world created?:
The Matrix was created to keep the humans dormant in the real world, while the machines survived off them.
How does this movie question or challenge our ideas about what is ideal?:
Whether it would be ideal to have sentient machines or not.
What ideas do you get from this film for your own ideal world movie?:
The world being a giant computer simualtion.

Haitan
My stomach burns like the fires of a thousand suns. I barely have the energy to move now. Me and my family have resorted to stealing from the markets, but its still not enough. One of my children has already died due to the lack of food. There are riots in the streets, and many fights have broken out. Its getting hard to write now. I can barely move my pencil. Its getting...so dark....

Hunter Gatherer
We roamed the plains, all day, searching in hopes of wild buffalo, and perhaps some more water. We managed to find a cool stream a few miles from our resting place, but were unable to find any buffalo. Luckily for us, we were able to find some jackrabbits to cook tonight, along with some fruit from nearby trees. We were also able to find some buffalo tracks later in the evening, and will follow them post haste tommorow morning. Our fellows are already sharpening their spears for tommorows hunt.
