HW: If I was ruler of the world
If I was ruler of the world, I would change the relationship between the U.S. and Mexico. I'd make it easier for immigrants to get visas, and green cards so they could come to the United States and work. Not only would that help the immigrants get better lives, but it would also help lessen the amount of drugs coming through the border. Me and my partner found evidence during the project, stating that the more we strengthened the border, the more business there was fro drug dealers. There would also be less deaths of immigrants trying to cross the border. If the U.S. keeps strengthening its borders, the more obstacles illegal immigrants will go through to get across it, resulting in more deaths.

HW: How to benefit the border region
There are many problems near the border in Mexico. Poverty, environmental poverty, drugs, gang violence, kidnapping, and pollution all help make the border less appealing to travel across. We could help poor people in need, try to find some way to stop gang violence, help clean the environment and donate to orphanages to help clean up the border and make it a better place to live in.

High School Drama
Highschool Drama.
Relationships form, and friendships are made, But whose to say they couldn't end in an instant. Hurtful words are said, hurtful things are done, and people break apart. You see friends sitting in corners, angry, lonely, and sad. You want to help them but you can't. You wonder if even trying to help them would only make things worse. Its the best of things when everyones together, happy, and having fun. But what about when times aren't like that, and people are angry at others who feel hurt. What happens when you turn another friends smile upside down?

Where do stereotypes come from?
Where do stereotypes come from? Stereotypes are generalizations about races, religions and other types of people. Examples of stereotypes are things such as 'Asians are smart and know karate' or 'English people have bad teeth.' Stereotypes are mostly negative due to the fact that most people dont fit into those stereotypes and feel that its unjust. Stereotypes can be taken as truth, so they can lead to the wrong beliefs about people. They can cause a regions economy to go down, due to loss of tourism because of stereotypes about that region causing tourists to stay away from those places.
Stereotypes start when people are still just children. 'Boys play with toy cars, girls play with dolls. Girls wear pink, boys wear blue.' They are also passed down by adults who make stereotype comments.
Heres one place where I got my info.
