Movie Review
The Matrix
Main Characters:
Neo, Morpheus, Trinity, the three Agents, and the Oracle.
Settings:
Years into the future, in a giant computer simulation.
Plot:
Morpheus rescues people from the Matrix, and leads a group against the machines that have taken over the real world. He rescues Neo, believing that he is the chosen one, that will be able to end the war.
Diffrences from real life:
It takes place around 200 years in the future, where machines have kept humans in a virtual simulation, while they stay alive by feeding off the humans in the real world.
Why was this world created?:
The Matrix was created to keep the humans dormant in the real world, while the machines survived off them.
How does this movie question or challenge our ideas about what is ideal?:
Whether it would be ideal to have sentient machines or not.
What ideas do you get from this film for your own ideal world movie?:
The world being a giant computer simualtion.
